Job Description: I form philanthropic partnerships with individuals and families that will support the care and research occurring on campus. I am a “generalist,” which allows me to work with benefactors throughout the campus.
Why CU? My family had a personal experience with the campus during my mom’s cancer and remain grateful for the care she received. The length and quality of her life was extended as a result of the treatment. The experience resulted in a career change 10 years ago fueled by my desire to be involved in work that would improve the health and quality of life as a result of transformative health care.
The best part of my job is the relationship cultivation of my work. I enjoy people, meeting people. Hearing their stories and learning about their values, hopes and desires. When you are able to “marry” the philanthropic passion of a benefactor with the needs of the campus, magic occurs.
I am a fourth-generation Denver native. I am proud of my Denver roots and enjoy mission-driven work that builds the spirit and quality of life for members of our community.
