Hometown: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Education: Indiana University, Bachelor of Arts, English

Job Description: I raise support for the important programs and projects in the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Development work is about the people and relationships that we build with individuals and families over time. It is our shared belief that by working together we can make the world a better place.

Why CU? I came to CU Anschutz to be part of life-changing work. The innovation and collaboration that is happening on this campus is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and I am so proud to be part of groundbreaking efforts that will reinvent the health care of tomorrow.

I am a curious learner who loves to hear people’s stories. Meeting our wonderful supporters and having the chance to work directly with the incredible faculty and staff at CU Anschutz inspires me every day.

My first career was as a high school English teacher. I loved working with students and being part of their early education. I am also the mom to a beautiful toddler named Emily, 12-year-old Springer Spaniel named Pepper, and wife to my fabulous husband, Steve.
