Taking Discoveries to Market

Last April, the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility opened its doors at CU Anschutz, enabling researchers and innovators to take bold ideas from the laboratory into production, where they can impact people’s lives. The new facility serves academic, clinical and commercial investigators, both Colorado-based and nationwide, looking to translate their discoveries into clinical-grade products suitable for investigational use in humans.

“We want to develop patient treatments faster,” said Patrick Gaines, executive director of the Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine. “This facility now allows us to take ideas and fully develop them through to patient delivery.”
