Dynamite Migraine Care

Carol and Jeffery Blake searched for the best migraine care in the world. Their search landed them at the University of Colorado Headache/Pain Medicine Clinic to treat Carol’s debilitating migraines.

Blake is one of the 1 billion people worldwide who suffer from migraines — starting during her third pregnancy 36 years ago. As time went on, she experienced a four-year break in migraines after her fifth daughter was born. But they came back.

As a chronic migraine sufferer, Blake had more than 15 migraines every month. This led the Blake family to the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, seeking treatment from Marius Birlea, MD. Now, the Blake family travels 1,400 miles every 12 weeks for a medical procedure to keep migraines at bay.
