Breakthroughs in Orthopedic Treatment and Care: November 4, 2019
This Transforming Health Care lecture featured three top orthopedic innovators who are working on cutting-edge treatments and therapies including life-changing prosthesis implants, spinal surgery procedures, and cartilage regeneration.
Drs. Evalina Burger, Jason Stoneback, and Jason Dragoo presented their work, their in-depth research, and engaged with the audience in an interactive Q&A session on the present and future of orthopedics.
The event also featured collegiate volleyball athlete Maritza Wiedel and her story going from injury and disk replacement surgery to trekking Everest and becoming an ultra-marathon runner.
As our team continues to push the boundaries of science and medicine, the Transforming Lecture Series is a unique opportunity to hear how tomorrow’s breakthroughs are happening today at CU Anschutz.
